Looking for the perfect holiday installer this season? First read this blog post to help you make your decision easier!
Green Flags in Holiday lighting companies:
Quotes are designed professionally
Company gets back to you in a couple of hours or same day
Properly insured for holiday lighting, not another general liability coverage for another trade
Actual commercial rated products
Installations and takedowns taken care of in proper time frame
Overall safety and quality of work
Experts in installation and removal techniques
Maintenance issues resolved quickly and properly
Qualified installers that have years of experience
Completed job sites are aesthetically pleasing
Reasonable pricing according to scope of work performed
Red Flags:
Subcontractors as “employees”
Not their primary business/separate businesses on their website (services)
Poor quality product
Not properly insured or wrong type of insurance
Ladders for projects that should require lifts for safety!
Workers on a roof without fall protection, standard under OSHA
Quotes made with markup, highlighter scribbles
No maintenance repairs
Lack of/no contact with company post installation
Work looks poor
They cut corners and ignore possible safety hazards
No professionalism on job site
They ghost clients for removal
Messy jobsite after install or removal
charlotteELFpros does not sell or rent lighting products to our customers, we provide lighting, decor, and greenery as part of our service offerings. We duty cycle all of our strands and bulbs on an annual basis. All of our product is tested before and after the season for wear, tear, and lumen depreciation to ensure our product is stored in a climate controlled warehouse. We offer clients the ability to change color schemes on a yearly basis and add or remove lighting as they plan for the holidays.
charlotteELFpros is a holiday centric company, built for serving our valued clients during the most wonderful time of the year. We carry the proper insurance for our industry and job specialties. charlotteELFpros was formed solely for the holiday season, and has no interest in being a secondary offering to another business we own. We will not place workers on a client’s roof for safety and property damage concerns. charlotteELFpros is well established, we live in the neighborhoods we serve, and we won't hire subcontractors. Our goal is not to be the largest volume lighting company, but the best in the Charlotte area for years to come.
